Abstract:
A lithium ion battery according to the present invention comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution, wherein the positive electrode comprises a current collector and a positive electrode mixture disposed on at least one surface of the current collector, wherein the positive electrode mixture comprises a positive electrode conductive agent, a lithium nickel manganese composite oxide as a positive electrode active material, and a resin having structural units derived from a nitrile-group containing monomer as a positive electrode binding agent, wherein the density of the positive electrode mixture is 2.5-3.2 g/cm3.
