Abstract:
A lithium-ion battery, comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a non-aqueous electrolyte, and a diaphragm. The diaphragm is located between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; the positive electrode comprises a positive electrode material layer comprising a positive electrode active material; the positive electrode active material comprises lithium cobalt oxide; the non-aqueous electrolyte comprises a non-aqueous organic solvent, a lithium salt, and an additive; the additive comprises a compound represented by formula 1: formula 1; the lithium-ion battery meets the following conditions: 0.1≤h/q*m≤15, 10≤q≤50, 50≤h≤130, and 0.01≤m≤3; and the maximum surface temperature Tmax and the minimum surface temperature Tmin of the lithium-ion battery during discharge to 100% DOD at 25°C at 2C meet the following condition: (Tmax-Tmin)/Tmin*100%≤30%. According to the lithium-ion battery, safety performance is improved while high cycle life and performance consistency are ensured.
