Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lithium-sulfur secondary battery and, more specifically, to a lithium-sulfur secondary battery comprising a cathode which comprises: a sulfur-carbon composite including a microporous carbon material and sulfur; or a conductive material including a high specific surface area carbon material. By specifying conditions for the cathode and an electrolyte, energy density can be improved in the lithium-sulfur secondary battery of the present invention, compared to conventional lithium-sulfur secondary batteries.
