Abstract:

A lithographic printing plate material having a substratum material and, sequentially superimposed thereon, a hydrophilic layer containing a photothermal conversion agent and a thermosensitive image forming layer, characterized in that the thermosensitive image forming layer contains a latex of hydrophobic component containing a hydrophilic component as a protective colloid. Thus, there is provided a lithographic printing plate material excelling in on-press developability, plate life and scratch resistance.
