Abstract:
Provided is a load-driving device that drives an inductive load and has an output terminal that has a capacitor connected thereto. The load-driving device can diagnose malfunction of the output terminal before charging voltage stabilizes. This load-driving device: has a capacitor that is connected between a load terminal and a ground terminal; and, on the basis of the current flowing between the load terminal an an internal power supply of a diagnostic circuit, diagnoses whether the load terminal has malfunctioned.
