Abstract:
A case 2 having a stator 3 fixed to the inner surface of a peripheral wall part 5 can be inserted into a tire house of an automobile from the outside o in an axial direction x. A brake disk 8a and a brake caliper 9 of the automobile can be inserted into the inside of a hollow part 7 of the case. A rotor 4 is provided with: a rotor connection part 101 that can be connected to a driving wheel connection part 8 of the automobile; a rotor frame 111 that extends outside o in a radial direction r at a position located more outward in the axial direction than the brake caliper in a state where the rotor connection part is connected to the driving wheel connection part; a rotor peripheral wall part 12 that is connected to the outer end of the rotor frame in the radial direction and that extends inside i in the axial direction from a connection part 111c with the outer end of the rotor frame in the radial direction; and a magnet 13 that is fixed to the rotor peripheral wall part.
