Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a load supporter with which it is possible to lessen the burden of a wearer by dispersing and supporting the weight of a heavy load, such as a satchel, a rucksack, a backpack or an infant being carried with an infant carrying implement like a baby carrier or a sling. [Solution] This load supporter 1 comprises: a ring-like fastener 3, the diameter of which can be extended/contracted by adjusting the circumferential length thereof; a supporting plate 2 which is coupled to the fastener 3 via a coupling part; and tautening members 41, 42 which are bound to a free-end side of the supporting plate 2 in such a manner as to suspend same. The coupling part has: a waist-fitting section 23 which has a bottom surface comprising a curved surface portion that has a horizontal sectional shape conforming to the shape of an outer peripheral surface of the fastener 3; a catching section 4 which brings the waist-fitting section 23 and the fastener 3 into engagement with each other; and a hinge section 24 which connects between an outer surface of the waist-fitting section 23 and an upper surface of the supporting plate 2 and which opens and closes when swiveling around a pivot.
