Abstract:
A locking mechanism for an actuator assembly. The locking mechanism comprises a meshing gear, wherein the meshing gear is connected to a second electric motor (5); and the second electric motor (5) is connected to the meshing gear by means of a worm drive. Further disclosed is a method for detecting the effectiveness of a locking mechanism, the method comprising: determining the relative positions of a meshing gear and a transmission gear (3) by means of measuring a rotation angle of the meshing gear; and after the meshing gear is meshed with the transmission gear (3), determining whether the meshing of the locking mechanism is reliable meshing according to a current change of a second electric motor (5). By means of detecting the position of a sector gear (4) and using an electronic control mechanism to identify a current signal of the second electric motor (5), whether the sector gear (4) and the transmission gear (3) are in a normally meshed state can be determined, thereby controlling the reliable meshing between the sector gear (4) and the transmission gear (3). Further disclosed are an actuator assembly, and a control method for detecting the effectiveness of a locking mechanism for an actuator assembly.
