Abstract:
A locking mechanism and an automobile. The locking mechanism comprises a main lock element (100), said main lock element (100) comprising a first pin (70), and, disposed sequentially on the first pin (70), a first rotating block (10), a second rotating block (20), a first toothed locking plate (30), a first resilient resetting element (60) and a second toothed locking plate (40). The second rotating block (20) is capable of rotating about the first pin (70), and the second rotating block (20) is capable of engaging the first rotating block (10) or the first toothed locking plate (30). The first toothed locking plate (30) is capable of meshing with the second toothed locking plate (40), and two ends of the first resilient resetting element (60) abut the first toothed locking plate (30) and the second toothed locking plate (40) respectively. When the second rotating block (20) rotates so as to engage the first toothed locking plate (30) but not engage the first rotating block (10), the first resilient resetting element (60) is compressed and the first toothed locking plate (30) is held tightly against the second toothed locking plate (40); and when the second rotating block (20) rotates so as to engage the first rotating block (10) but not engage first toothed locking plate (30), the first resilient resetting element (60) resets and the first toothed locking plate (30) and the second toothed locking plate (40) separate, thus better ensuring locking and unlocking.
