Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a lockup device in a torque converter, the purpose of the present invention being to enable smooth relative movement relative to a drive plate irrespective of deformation of an equalizer plate. A drive plate (26) functioning as an input-side rotating member and a driven plate (22) functioning as an output-side rotating member are linked together in a rotational direction by a damper spring (28). The damper spring (28) is configured from a pair of divided portions (28A, 28B). An equalizer plate (29) functioning as an intermediate member is provided so as to rotatably slide over a receiving part (26-1) of the drive plate (26), and a supporting part (40) fixed to the equalizer plate (29) is arranged between the divided portions (28A, 28B) of the damper spring (28). The outer peripheral surface (26-1a') of the receiving part (26-1) of the drive plate (26) has an arc-shaped curvature center (C') that is misaligned in the radial direction from an arc-shaped curvature center (C) of the inner peripheral surface (29a) of the equalizer plate (29).
