Title:
LONG-ACTING ACYLATED INSULIN DERIVATIVE AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/051787
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a long-acting acylated insulin derivative and use thereof and a preparation method therefor. The long-acting acylated insulin derivative is formed by connecting a fatty acid side chain to an insulin peptide chain in an acylation manner. The fatty acid side chain is connected to an epsilon amino of an amino acid K on the insulin peptide chain in an acylation manner. The peptide chain of the insulin derivative is composed of a modified insulin A chain and a modified insulin B chain. The long-acting acylated insulin derivative has remarkably prolonged action time, can be used for treating diabetes mellitus, can remarkably improve the compliance and sugar control willingness of a patient, and has wide market prospects.
