Abstract:

A long medium (1) is provided with scale marks (11) on the straight lines (L1) of side edge sections (1a). The distance (d) between each adjacent scale marks (11) is constant. The medium (1) is provided with first index holes (12) on the straight lines (L1). The medium (1) is further provided with second index holes (13) on another straight line (L2). The distance (P2) between adjacent second indexes (13) is less than the distance (P1) between adjacent first indexes (12). The medium (1) is sequentially consumed from the front end (1b) thereof. The second indexes (13) approach closer to the first indexes (12) as the medium (1) is consumed. The distance (H) between a starting scale mark (11a) and a second index (13) represents the portion of the entire length (L) of the medium (1) which has not been consumed. The scale marks (11) are sprocket holes. The medium (1) is provided with release paper (5) and an adhesive sheet (3). An image is formed on the medium (1) by a printer.
