Abstract:
A long-period fiber grating sensing array-based intelligent monitoring system and method for a blast furnace. The system comprises a long-period fiber grating sensing array mounted in a blast furnace; one end of the long-period fiber grating sensing array is connected to an optical amplifier, and the other end is connected to a multi-channel fiber grating demodulation unit; the optical amplifier is connected to a broadband light source; and the multi-channel fiber grating demodulation unit is connected to an ARM processor. Multi-point and multi-parameter detection of a status of the blast furnace is performed by means of the fiber grating sensing array, and low-loss all-fiber conduction also provides feasibility for remote detection. Safety early warning and status assessment of a blast furnace device operating under various complex environments/loads are provided, facilitating stable operation of the blast furnace and improving product quality production capacity.
