Abstract:
The present invention proposes long scissors having a thumb fixing protrusion, wherein the still blade of long scissors has a thumb fixing protrusion formed at the end portion thereof, and when a user cuts short hair with the scissors, the thumb fixing protrusion holds the thumb of a hand which is not using the scissors, whereby a position of the long scissors can be stably fixed during hairdressing work, and a position of the long scissors can be fixed by a relatively smaller force than when the long scissors does not have the thumb fixing protrusion. The long scissors having a thumb fixing protrusion according to the present invention comprises a moving blade and a still blade which are fastened to each other by using a bolt, a bearing, a washer, and a nut, wherein the still blade has a thumb fixing protrusion for preventing the fingerprint portion of the thumb of a hand other than the hand with the long scissors from slipping along the opposite side to the still blade.
