Abstract:
Provided are a low density parity check code encoding method and an encoder, relating to the technical field of chips. Same can solve the problems of a large computation delay and high computation complexity in LDPC encoding. The method comprises: encoding first data according to an LDPC check matrix, and outputting second data obtained after encoding, wherein the LDPC check matrix comprises a check bit part, the check bit part is a lower triangular matrix, and a sub-matrix above the diagonal of the lower triangular matrix is a zero matrix; sub-matrices located on the diagonal and below the diagonal in the first M1 columns of the lower triangular matrix are CPMs; and a sub-matrix located on the diagonal in the last M2 columns of the lower triangular matrix is a multilateral matrix, and a sub-matrix located below the diagonal is a zero matrix. The embodiments of the present application are used for data encoding in a storage application architecture or data encoding at a data sending end in a communication architecture.
