Abstract:
A low-friction slide member having a slide surface allowing relative sliding via an oil as to a surface of opponent material, characterized in that the slide surface is provided with multiple texture groups consisting of at least two recessed portions adjacent to each other, the adjacent recessed portions having regions mutually aligned along the direction of sliding or the direction of oil flow, and that the spacing between texture groups is larger than that between adjacent recessed portions, and that the texture groups are uniformly distributed on the slide surface.
