Abstract:
A low friction type seal structure (10) for sealing a fixed member (10a) and a moving member (13) is provided in seal lips (16, 17), which contact the moving member (13) as they are slidingly moved, with liquid passages (21, 22) extending from an outer portion to an inner portion thereof, a small quantity of fluid being made to flow through the liquid passages to lubricate a surface of the moving member (13). A low friction type seal structure (35) of another mode for sealing a fixed member (36) and a moving member (42) is provided with a plurality of O-rings (38 to 40) inserted in an annular groove (37) formed in the fixed member (36), and a low friction tube disposed between the O-rings (38 to 40) and moving member (42) so that a liquid pressure is distributed by the O-rings, this enabling a pressure applied to the low friction tube to decrease, and, as a result, the moving member to be moved with a low friction.
