Abstract:
Provided are a power generation method, a power generation device, and a power generation installation that generate electric energy from a water channel, in which fluctuations in the amount of water are small, by effectively utilizing the width of the water channel without waste and without requiring a large-scale device. The method comprises: a first step wherein running water is accumulated in a water tank; a second step wherein the water is drained when the water tank tilts as a result of the accumulation of a predetermined quantity of water or more in the water tank; and a third step wherein the orientation of the water tank returns to the state of the first step when the water tank tilts in the reverse direction as a result of the drainage of the water from the water tank. Electric energy is generated by the movement of the water tank in the second step.
