Abstract:
A lower limbs motion generating exercise training device for a motion generating exercise, which is capable of preventing a drop-foot contracture caused by an after-trouble of a cerebrovascular disorder, or restricting the appearance of a convulsion in a patient suffering from a drop-foot contracture by properly utilizing the reciprocal innervation of a motion muscle and an antagonistic muscle and an inhibitory mechanism, and which comprises a feet resting sheet (1) for receiving feet, a heel holding unit (4) and a holding means (3) for stably setting an unaffected foot and an affected foot on the feet resting sheet, and a frame body (5), inside of which are provided a setting sheet (8) having wheels (10) at the bottom surface thereof and vertically movably supported by the frame body, a hinge (11a) on which the feet resting sheet and one side of the frame body turns about a swing shaft (11), a loading device (9) for energizing the foot resting sheet and the setting sheet in opening directions, and setting sheet shifting holes (7a, 7b, 7c, 7d) and setting sheet holding holes (6a, 6b) for installing a stabilizing device (20) and a fixing device (21) used to install the wheel-carrying setting sheet (8), whereby the training device can be used independently by patients safely and at ease, prevent or improve a drop-feet contracture, and expand a joint excursion.
