Abstract:

An LTCC process-based ultrawide-passband fifth-order bandpass filter, comprising a ceramic substrate (1), a bottom input electrode (2), a bottom output electrode (4), and a bottom ground electrode (3). The ceramic substrate (1) comprises therein five parallel-connected resonators, one ground electrode plate (SD), two serial-connected connecting capacitors, two serial-connected connecting inductors, one cross-coupling capacitor (C15), and one parallel-connected inductor (L24). The two serial-connected connecting capacitors comprise a first serial-connected capacitor (C12) and a second serial-connected capacitor (C45). The two serial-connected connecting inductors comprise a first serial-connected inductor (L23) and a second serial-connected inductor (L34). The filter employs a fifth-order parallel-connected resonant structure, has five parallel-connected resonant units deepening out-of-band suppression, and introduces one cross-coupling capacitor (C15), one parallel-connected inductor (L24), and two serial-connected connecting inductors, thus greatly widening the passband of the bandpass filter, deepening out-of-band suppression by three folds, and rectifying the problem of a conventional fifth-order bandpass filter having a narrow passband and a large insertion loss.
