Abstract:

A lubricant composition characterized by containing a lubricant base oil and a viscosity index improver and having a kinematic viscosity at 100˚C of 4-12 mm2/s and a viscosity index of 200-350. The lubricant composition is also characterized in that the lubricant base oil contains a first lubricant base oil component having a urea adduct value of not more than 4% by mass, a kinematic viscosity at 40˚C of 14-25 mm2/s and a viscosity index of not less than 120, and a second lubricant base oil component having a kinematic viscosity at 40˚C of less than 14 mm2/s, and that the content of the first lubricant base oil component is 10-99% by mass and the content of the second lubricant base oil component is 1-50% by mass, based on the total amount of the lubricant base oil.
