Abstract:
Provided are: a lubricant composition capable of suppressing abrasion and the like occurring in a steel bearing under harsh conditions; and a rolling bearing using said lubricant composition. A lubricant composition 7 is used in a steel bearing and contains an inorganic sodium salt. The spontaneous potential of steel is 0.04 V or more in a 25°C aqueous solution having dissolved therein said inorganic sodium salt at a concentration of 1 mass%. The inorganic sodium salt contains at least one selected from sodium molybdate and sodium sulfite. The lubricant composition further contains a sorbitan-based ester or a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate.
