Title:
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION AND AUTOMOTIVE TRANSMISSION OIL USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/010735
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lubricating oil composition that has a low viscosity, very high viscosity index, and excellent shear stability. A lubricating oil composition containing components (A) to (C), where (A) is a low-viscosity synthetic oil which is a compound containing ether bonds in the molecules and for which the dynamic viscosity at 40°C is less than 10 mm2/s, the ratio of the number of oxygen atoms and the number of carbon atoms that constitute the compound (O/C ratio) and the dynamic viscosity of the compound (mm2/s) at 40°C satisfying the formula (Dynamic viscosity at 40°C ≤ 12-[(O/C ratio)×30]); (B) is one or more high-viscosity synthetic oils which are hydrocarbon-based synthetic oils having a dynamic viscosity at 100°C of 40 mm2/s or higher, and which are selected from α-olefin oligomers, hydrides thereof, and ethylene-propylene copolymer oligomers; and (C) is a polymethacrylate having a weight-average molecular weight of 50,000 or lower.
