Abstract:
The lubricating oil composition of the present invention is for an internal combustion engine and contains: (A) a lubricating oil base-oil comprising a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil; (B) a boron-containing alkylsuccinic acid imide and/or a boron-containing alkenylsuccinic acid imide at 0.001-0.1 mass%, defined in terms of the boron content, of the total composition amount; and (C) a poly(meth)acrylate in which, when the weight-average molecular weight is taken as Mw and the average carbon number of an alkyl group as measured by 13C-NMR is taken as X, has an Mw of 100,000-700,000 and an Mw/X equal to or greater than 30,000, at 0.1-30 mass% of the total composition amount.
