Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lubricating oil composition with which oxidation stability can be improved through residual basicity, and with which seize resistance can be maintained and, further, the occurrence of precipitation due to addition of a base prevented, and which also can lower the traction coefficient. This lubricating oil composition for a or traction drive transmission is produced by combining (A) a base oil, (B) a phosphoric acid ester compound, (C) an antioxidant, and (D) an amine represented by the following general formula (I), and/or an amine oxide of said amine. In general formula (I), R1 and R2 may be the same or different, and each independently represent a C1-26 straight chain, branched, or cyclic alkyl group, a C1-26 straight chain, branched, or cyclic alkenyl group, (R4-O)m-H, or (R5-O)n1-(R6-O)n2-H. R4 to R6 each independently represent a C2-3 alkylene group, and m, n1, and n2 each independently represent a number from 2 to 25, inclusive. R3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted, C1-26 straight chain, branched, or cyclic alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted, C1-26 straight chain, branched, or cyclic alkenyl group.
