Abstract:
The present invention provides a lubricating oil composition which comprises (A) one or more zinc dithiophosphates represented by formula (1) in an amount of 0.1 to 1.5 mass% relative to the whole mass of the composition and in terms of zinc, (B) a calcium sulfonate in an amount of 0.3 to 3.0 mass% relative to the whole mass of the composition and in terms of calcium, and (C) a base oil. In the formula, R1, R2, R3 and R4 may be the same or different and are each C3-10 primary or secondary alkyl or C6-10 aryl.
