Abstract:
Provided is a lubricating oil degradation sensor which is installed in a machine body in order to detect the degradation of lubricating oil in the machine body. The lubricating oil degradation sensor is provided with: a circuit substrate on which a light emitting element and a color light receiving element are mounted; a gap formation member in which an oil gap through which the lubricating oil enters is formed; a support member which supports the circuit substrate and the gap formation member; a fixed member which is affixed to the machine body; and a shock absorbing member which is disposed between the support member and the fixed member and absorbs a shock. The gap formation member transmits light emitted by the light emitting member therethrough. The oil gap is disposed on an optical path from the light emitting element to the color light receiving element. The support member is provided with a substrate mounting part to which the circuit substrate is mounted. At least part of the shock absorbing member is disposed in a substrate mounting part surrounding space that is formed to surround the substrate mounting part between the fixed member and the support member.
