Abstract:
It is intended to provide a stabilized luminescence system by extending the half-life of a luminescence reaction with the use of beetle lucicerin/luciferase. A lucicerin/luciferase luminescence method characterized by comprising reacting luciferin with beetle luciferase in the presence of pyrophosphoric acid and/or a pyrophosphoric acid salt to thereby cause luminescence with a luminescent half-time of 5 minutes or longer; a method of using the same, a luminescent reagent and a luminescent reagent kit.
