Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transparent luminescent solar concentrator (LSC). A luminescent solar concentrator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a polymer resin panel that is uniformly doped with a phosphor. Accordingly, transmittance and optical haze can be significantly improved compared to a conventional LSC manufactured by physically mixing phosphors or coating the entire panel. In addition, the light collection efficiency of the luminescent solar concentrator can be greatly improved through the arrangement structure of solar cells embedded in the polymer resin panel. Since the polymer resin panel according to an embodiment can be manufactured flexibly or rigidly depending on the use, the polymer resin panel can be widely applied to structures with curvature, such as building windows, automobile glass, greenhouse roofs, or the like.
