Abstract:
A mold for hot-forming a Zn-plated steel sheet, wherein at least the portion of the mold that makes contact with the Zn-plated steel sheet during hot forming is covered with an amorphous carbon film satisfying the following four conditions. (1) The film thickness is 0.5 μm or greater (2) The arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) of the surface is 2.0 μm or less (3) The root mean square gradient (RΔq) of the surface is 0.50° or less (4) The hydrogen content is 30 at% or less
