Abstract:
Disclosed are a machine head for a strapping machine, and a strapping machine. The machine head for a strapping machine comprises: a mounting base (1), one end of the mounting base being provided with a guide strap groove (11) and the other end being provided with a slidable sliding base (12), the mounting base being further provided with a first driving mechanism (13) used for driving the sliding base to reciprocate; and a machine head body (2) comprising a strap conveying mechanism (21) and a sealing mechanism (22), the strap conveying mechanism being used for conveying packing straps, the sealing mechanism being used for cutting off and welding the packing straps, and the machine head body being disposed on the sliding base. Integrating a strap conveying function and a sealing function facilitates mounting, and also improves the reliability of use.
