Abstract:
The present invention relates to a machine tool cable protection device, the device comprising: a universal head having a rotating part, and rotatably and tiltably installed on a ram body; a cable having one end connected to the rotating part of the universal head and the other end connected to a supply source; a rotation unit disposed on the rotating part of the universal head so as to wind or unwind the cable rotating in association with a rotating direction and a rotating angle of the rotating part of the universal head; and a movement unit disposed on the ram body so as to be capable of a linear reciprocating movement for compensating for a change in length of the cable that is wound or unwound on the rotation unit according to the rotational direction and the rotational angle of the rotation unit.
