Abstract:
The present application relates to a machine tool capable of top and bottom chip removal. The machine tool comprises a main body. The main body comprises a sheet metal enclosure installed on a base tray. The base is fixedly installed on a cast base. A top water spraying device and a bottom water spraying device are installed in the sheet metal enclosure. The top water spraying device is installed at an upper portion of the sheet metal enclosure to spray and wash an inner side wall of the sheet metal enclosure from the top. The bottom water spraying device is installed at a lower portion of the sheet metal enclosure to spray and wash the base tray thereof. A water drainage opening is provided at the lower portion of the sheet metal enclosure. The improved machine tool achieves effective removal of chips on the inner side wall and in the lower portion, thereby facilitating maintenance of normal operation of the machine tool, and reducing obstruction of a viewing window of the machine tool.
