Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a chattering output unit which, by having an acceleration sensor installed in an excitation unit of a machine tool, detects a chattering signal of the machine tool and displays, on a monitor, in the form of a graph, a chattering signal value provided from the acceleration sensor; a chattering correction direction display unit which outputs an indication of an increase/decrease of the rotational speed amplitude and amplitude variation period of a spindle; and a parameter input unit which inputs an increase/decrease rate of the rotational speed amplitude, and time corresponding to the amplitude variation period of the spindle, wherein, in a control unit, if the chattering signal value is greater than a predetermined minimum chattering value, or if a chattering amplitude is greater than a predetermined reference amplitude, the rotational speed amplitude rate and amplitude variation period value of the spindle inputted through the parameter input unit are provided to a numerical control device, and the rotational speed amplitude and amplitude variation period of the spindle are changed, and thus, by manually or automatically controlling the rotational speed amplitude and amplitude variation period of the spindle, chattering of the machine tool is stabilized, thereby improving the processing roughness of a workpiece, reducing vibration and noise caused by chattering, and further, preventing abnormal wear and damage of the machine tool.
