Abstract:
A machine tool (10) comprises: a display (205); an operation unit (20) for accepting an operation; a detection unit (51) capable of detecting a plurality of types of processing abnormalities regarding a workpiece processed by the machine tool (10); and a control unit (50) for controlling the machine tool (10). The control unit (50) executes: processing of displaying an image representing the workpiece on the display (205); processing of, when a processing abnormality is detected by the detection unit (51), displaying an abnormal portion corresponding to a site of occurrence of the processing abnormality in a predetermined display mode in the image; and processing of, when the operation unit (20) has accepted an operation of selecting the abnormal portion, carrying out abnormality response processing corresponding to the type of the processing abnormality occurring in the abnormal portion.
