Abstract:
A machine tool controller is provided which can stably achieve the effect of suppressing regenerative self-induced chatter vibration. This machine tool controller is provided with a change command calculation unit which generates a change command on the basis of a speed command of the main shaft motor in the machine tool and a change condition for periodically changing the rotation speed of the main shaft motor, and a speed control unit which controls the rotation speed of the main shaft motor on the basis of the speed command and the change command. On the basis of the rotation speed of the main shaft motor, which is based on the speed command, and the frequency ratio, which is the change condition, the change command calculation unit generates the aforementioned change command by calculating the frequency of the periodically changing rotation speed of the main shaft motor.
