Abstract:
The present invention jets a coolant supplied from an end of a tool rotating shaft from the outer peripheral surface of a grindstone to thereby enable grinding work using the coolant at any position in a device.
A machine tool is configured to be provided with a tool rotating shaft (2) in which a flow path passing through the interior of the rotating shaft is formed, and a tool holder (3) provided with a flow path continuous with the flow path of the tool rotating shaft, the flow path of the tool holder (3) leading to the inner peripheral surface (4a) of a grindstone (4) attached thereto, and the attached grindstone being provided with pores that communicate with each other from the inner peripheral surface (4a) toward the outer peripheral surface (4b). The machine tool has a structure in which a coolant (L) is injected from one end of the tool rotating shaft (2), passes through the tool holder (3), goes from the inner peripheral surface (4a) to the outer peripheral surface (4b) of the grindstone (4), and finally is released from the outer peripheral surface (4b). Since the coolant (L) is jetted from the grindstone (4) that is the tool, grinding work becomes possible at any position in a range within a machine which the grindstone (4) can reach.
