Abstract:
This on-machine tool measurement device (20) is installed on a machine tool (10) for machining a workpiece (18) placed on a table (12) with a tool (17) attached to a spindle (15), and measures a state of the tool (17) within a measurement area of the tool (17), the on-machine tool measurement device having: a measurement unit (22) for measuring the state of the tool (17); a support base (21) for supporting the measurement unit (22); and a movement mechanism (30) which moves the support base (21) and disposes the measurement unit (22) in or out of the measurement area of the tool (17).
