Abstract:
Provided is a machine tool with which it is possible to easily manipulate a part for manipulation by using a manipulation means of a display unit, while visually checking the motion etc. of the part for manipulation while displayed on a display unit of a manipulation panel that is moveable with respect to an apparatus body. An automated lathe (100) has an apparatus body (10) which is provided with a manipulation main panel (30) and a manipulation sub-panel (40). The apparatus body (10) has main shafts (11, 12, 13), cutting tool rests (14, 15, 16), a control unit (18), a storage unit (19), and a wireless communication unit (20). The manipulation sub-panel (40) has a display unit (41), a manipulation unit (42), an imaging unit (43), a control unit (44), and a storage unit (45). The main shaft (11) or other part for manipulation which has a mark (50) arranged on the part for manipulation is imaged by the imaging unit (43) to read the mark (50), and on the basis of the read information, a display control unit (47) of the control unit (44) displays on the display unit (41) a manipulation unit (42) for manipulating the part for manipulation, and the part for manipulation while being imaged in a state accompanied by integrated manipulation guidance.
