Abstract:
A machine tool comprising: a machining device that executes machining on a workpiece in a machining chamber; a chip conveyor that has a reservoir into which machining chips, which are generated by machining the workpiece with the machining device, flow together with a coolant, and discharges the machining chips out of the machine tool; a coolant tank into which the chip conveyor is incorporated, and which stores the coolant flowing out of the reservoir; a sub-tank installed so as to surround the outside of a coolant discharge window formed in a side surface of the reservoir; and a machining chip removal unit having a magnet separator, which is made of a magnet and stored in the sub-tank, and an opening for filtering the coolant, which is formed around the magnet separator.
