Abstract:
A machine tool (100) for moving a rotating tool (T1) and a workpiece (W) relative to one another and carrying out hole processing, the machine tool (100) comprising: a main shaft (112) for causing the attached rotating tool (T1) to rotate; a table (106) to which the workpiece (W) is attached; a Z-axis feeding device (118) for moving the main shaft (112) and the table (106) relative to one another along a center-axis direction of the main shaft (112); and a control device (10) that, upon having received a shaking-hole-processing command to vary the relative movement speeds of the main shaft (112) and the table (106) at a shaking frequency and carry out hole processing in the workpiece (W), sets a shaking frequency different from a value obtained by multiplying the rotation frequency of the main shaft (112) and the number of edges of the rotating tool (T1), and operates the Z-axis feeding device (118) at the shaking frequency.
