Abstract:
A machining program generation device (10) is provided with: a product shape storage unit (11); a material shape storage unit (12); a workpiece origin/machining direction storage unit (13) that selects a first workpiece coordinate system including a first workpiece origin, and a first machining direction; a machining program generation unit (17) that generates a first machining program for machining a first machined shape; and an uncut shape generation unit (18) that generates an uncut shape. The workpiece origin/machining direction storage unit (13) selects a second workpiece coordinate system, which includes a second workpiece origin for machining the uncut shape, and a second machining direction. The machining program generation unit (17) extracts a second machined shape that can be machined in the second machining direction, and generates a second machining program for machining the extracted second machined shape.
