Abstract:
A machining tank (20) for electric discharge machine, comprising a tank wall (21) having an opening (22) in the front surface thereof and surrounding a workpiece, a front door (31) movable horizontally between an unlock position and a lock position where the opening is closed in the state of liquid seal, a set of brackets (32) installed on both sides of the front door and extending rearward, a handle lever (51) supported at least on one bracket rotatably about a pivot (35), and a cam follower (52) fixed to the handle lever in front of the pivot and movable vertically between a first position (H1) higher than the pivot and a second position (H2) lower than the pivot, wherein the cam follower is fitted loosely in a vertically extending groove (52) formed in a rail block (61) and the horizontal movement thereof is limited and, when the cam follower is located at the first position, the front door is allowed to be moved vertically in unlock position and, when located at the second position, the front door is located at the lock position and the opening is closed in the state of liquid seal.
