Abstract:
According to the present invention, the accuracy of measuring the diameter of a workpiece is improved. This machining tool is provided with: a displacement sensor which is mounted on at least one among a guide bush that supports, at the front of a main shaft, a workpiece held by the main shaft, or a support part that supports the main shaft; a calculation unit which calculates the diameter of the workpiece after machining on the basis of a measurement value by the displacement sensor for the workpiece after the machining. The main shaft can be moved forward and backward in the shaft direction, moves, to a prescribed position obtained by a measurement of the displacement sensor in the shaft direction, a part to be machined of the workpiece displaced due to the withdrawal of the main shaft after machining of the workpiece, and performs, by means of the displacement sensor, a measurement on the part to be machined of the workpiece after the movement.
