Abstract:
Cellular immunotherapy is a promising new technology for fighting difficult to treat diseases, such as cancer, persistent infections and diseases that are refractory to other forms of treatment. Macrophages represent the dominant cell type present in a tumor or an infection site and possess several strategic advantages such that they can be potentially utilized to treat the disease most effectively. Compositions and methods for making and using therapeutic agents comprising myeloid cell specific engagers, used for immunotherapy of cancer or infection.
