A magazine storage device according to this disclosure passes and receives a magazine, which is capable of holding components for a component mounting machine, to and from a transfer carriage for transferring the magazine and includes a magazine mounting table on which the magazine is placeable and a lifting mechanism that is capable of changing an exchange height at which the magazine mounting table passes and receives the magazine.
