Abstract:
A magnesium alloy which has a Cu content of from 0 to 1.5% by mass, an Ni content of from 0 to 0.5% by mass, a Ca content of from 0.05 to 1.0% by mass, an Al content of from 0 to 0.5% by mass, a Zn content of from 0 to 0.3% by mass, an Mn content of from 0 to 0.3% by mass and a Zr content of from 0 to 0.3% by mass, with the total content of the Cu and the Ni being from 0.005 to 2.0% by mass, and with the balance being made up of magnesium and unavoidable impurities.
