Abstract:
Provided is a permanent magnet type rotary electric machine that reduces torque pulsation that occurs during current energization and which causes noise or vibration in the rotary electric machine. The rotary electric machine is provided with: a stator having a stator winding wire; and a rotor which is rotatably arranged with respect to the stator and in which a plurality of magnets are provided. Cogging torque is reduced and the torque pulsation that occurs during the current energization is reduced, by providing a magnetic gap about a q-axis passing through a salient-pole center in a magnetic auxiliary salient-pole part formed between the poles of a magnet provided in the rotor, and by combining skews for laminating and connecting a plurality of block cores as a unit in an axial direction while shifting the block cores by a prescribed angle in the peripheral direction of a rotor shaft.
