Abstract:
Provided is a magnetic assisted welding apparatus, comprising: a first electrode (1), a second electrode (2), a base plate (3), a first workpiece to be welded (4), a second workpiece to be welded (5), and a magnetic unit (6); the first workpiece to be soldered and the second workpiece to be soldered are arranged superimposed between the first electrode and the substrate; the second electrode and the second workpiece to be welded abut against the base plate; a magnetic unit is placed around the outside of the first electrode; the first electrode abuts against the surface of the first workpiece to be welded, and forms a weld nugget between the first workpiece to be welded and the second workpiece to be welded; the magnetic unit agitates the weld nugget. In the apparatus, by means of arranging the magnetic unit surrounding the electrode, an agitated magnetic field is generated inside the workpiece to be welded so as to agitate the weld nugget, the agitated magnetic field interacts with the welding current to regulate the welding area in three dimensions and in real time, thus increasing the microhardness of the internal tissue of the weld nugget and improving the morphology of the weld nugget, weakening the softening effect of the melting area in the axial direction and thus reducing the indentation. The invention also relates to a magnetic assisted welding method.
