Title:
MAGNETIC BODY HOLDING APPARATUS FOR MINIMIZING RESIDUAL MAGNETISM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/156494
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a magnetic body holding apparatus for minimizing residual magnetism using a structure for minimizing magnetic flow resistance. The magnetic body holding apparatus which holds and releases a magnetic object to be attached, according to the present invention, comprises: a first pole piece; a second pole piece; a main permanent magnet; a base; a coil; and a controller that controls a current applied to the coil to magnetize at least one of the first pole piece, the second pole piece, and the base, thereby controlling the holding or releasing of the object to be attached, wherein a flow enhancing part is formed near a point where the first pole piece and the base join, or near a point where the second pole piece and the base join, and in cases where the base is brought into contact with the first and second pole pieces, the edge of the base is chamfered or filleted along a magnetic current path which is caused by the main permanent magnet and passes through the base.
